and arrested two men on Friday evening in this connection. They are also on searching for two more who managed to escape.

Police said the arrested men

Anantha Parthiban

, 28, and Deepak Raj, 24, had packed the country bombs and ganja in a tiffin box.

They told police that they had been given instructions from someone inside

Puzhal

prison to throw the contraband on to the jail premises.

Police said the accused met each other in jail and became friends.

Police seized the ganja and handed over the bombs to the quarries in Murugambakkam.
