TRB to conduct written test to recruit 4,000 assistant professors
CHENNAI: Teachers Recruitment Board (TRB) will conduct a written test on August 4 to recruit 4,000 assistant professors to 164 govt arts and science colleges in Tamil Nadu.
TRB’s written examination will be conducted for 200 marks and will have two papers. They will have both multiple choice-based questions and descriptive type questions.
Candidates have to apply for the exam from March 28 to April 29.
Guest lecturers will get a maximum of 15 marks for their experience in government colleges.
General category candidates will have to score a minimum of 40% marks while other categories will have to score 30% of marks to qualify in the exam.
