This Chennai flyover named after late vocalist M Balamuralikrishna
CHENNAI: The Greater Chennai Corporation has named the Cathedral Road flyover after legendary Carnatic vocalist M Balamuralikrishna, according to a council resolution passed recently.
Balamuralikrishna was a Carnatic vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, playback singer, composer and actor. He was the recipient of Padma Shri, Padma Bhushan and Padma Vibhushan.
