When the train was near Katpadi railway station, she used a washroom. When she came out of the washroom, she saw Kishore engaging in an obscene behaviour in front of her, blocking her way.
When she raised objections, he touched her inappropriately. She captured a photograph of the man and rushed to her berth.
When the train reached Chennai Central, she sought the assistance from the Government General Hospital.
GRP police chief S Vanitha formed special teams to mab the suspect. A team, led by the railway superintendent of police (SP) I Eswaran, tracked down the suspect based on the photo the woman had shared with them.
