Tamil Nadu speaker Appavu to visit Australia, New Zealand

CHENNAI: Tamil Nadu assembly speaker M Appavu is participating in the 67th Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference taking place in Sydney, Australia, from Nov 5 to 8.

Appavu will participate in a Society of the Clerks-at-the-Table in Commonwealth Parliaments (SOCATT) meeting that will take place during the conference.

The speaker and officials will leave for Australia on Nov 2. They would also visit New Zealand before returning to India on Nov 11, the release added.
