Tamil Nadu: Duo held for stealing cars

CHENNAI: Police have arrested two men who stole mini trucks and cars in different parts of the city and sold them for a cheaper price in southern districts without documents.
As many as nine mini trucks and two cars were seized from the accused identified as T Augustine Eden Inbaraj, 48, of Kanyakumari and M Thangapandian, 31, of Madurai. In August, the duo drove away a mini truck of one Naveen Raj.j from Arumbakkam.Based on his complaint, Arumbakkam police had registered a case.
On Sunday, police intercepted a car and its occupants revealed that it was a stolen vehicle, while admitting their role in other thefts.
