Tamil Nadu BJP youth wing president Vinoj P Selvam hits out at actor Vijay for not extending Ganesh Chaturthi wishes

CHENNAI: Tamil Nadu BJP youth wing president Vinoj P Selvam has criticised actor and TVK founder Vijay for not extending wishes for Ganesh Chaturthi.

"Same old strategy. Appeasement of minorities. Opportunistic Hindu. Stooping so low already to the extent of copying DMK style of not wishing for Ganesh Chathurthi," Vinoj P Selvam said in a tweet.


Vinoj said he had waited till 7 pm on Saturday for Vijay to wish for Ganesh Chathurti and for "a neutral face to be projected by Vijay."

In a note to the public, Vinoj asked them to realise the ideology of Vijay at an early stage itself.

In an unrelated development, TN BJP spokesperson A N S Prasad accused Vijay of insulting freedom fighters in his recently released movie 'GOAT' (Greatest Of All Time). "Vijay had insulted Subash Chandra Bose and the link he had with Tamil Nadu," said Prasad.
