CHENNAI: YouTuber Kishore K Swamy was arrested in the third case for threatening a journalist.
As he is kept in Saidapet sub-jail, the CCB sleuths produced the arrest warrant and got it signed by Swamy.
Police said Swamy is already facing two cases. The Sankar Nagar police arrested him on June 14 for circulating defamatory videos and comments against chief minister
M K Stalin and former CMs and DMK late leaders C N Annadurai and
M Karunanidhi.
Later, he was arrested in another case for abusing a media person on social media.
Meanwhile, police commissioner Shankar Jiwal transferred the case from the Sankar Nagar police station to the cybercrime wing of the CCB for further investigation. Swamy has been booked under Section 153 (provocation with intent to cause riot) and Section (1)
(b) (causing fear or alarm to the public) of IPC among other sections.
