Tambaram corpn completes 102 road projects

Chennai: Tambaram corporation completed 102 road works, including 65 tarred roads and eight cement concrete roads, as part of its ongoing infrastructure development under the Tamil Nadu Urban Roads Infrastructure Project , which aims to improve internal roads across the region. A total of 253 roads, including 195 tarred roads and 58 cement concrete roads, are being constructed at an estimated cost of 19.74 crore.tnn

Come and visit Nanmangalam area . The roads are in pathetic condition and NO maintenance at all . School vans, Motorists, Cars find it very difficult to commute. Often Water lorries create lot of traffic during peak hours. Rain water gets stagnated and ZERO sanitation . Panchayat officials are utter waste and they dont even replace fault street lights / make temporary action to damaged roads / clear garbage on time . Our complaints about stray cows and dogs are least bothered . The Nanmangalam road is used by than 1000 people on daily as this is easily accessible to Chrompet station and Hanstinapuram . There would be at least 500 houses and 100 apartments . Since there are no drainage facility, we had to relay on One Septic tank cleaning lorry which caters to the entire household of Nanmangalam. They are not allowing any private agencies as well. I m not sure, if these complaints will go to the concern Government officials . But, if it goes, Kindly take action and preserve Chennai's one of the top residential area..
