Chennai: School education department has warned of criminal action against those who misbehave with schoolchildren. Anyone from the department involved in such activities would face a stringent disciplinary action.In a statement on Tuesday night, the school education department secretary S Madhumathi listed various measures, including printing toll free numbers on book cover, establishing student safeguarding advisory committees in schools and taking over the administration of two schools in Krishnagiri following complaints of sexual harassment during a fake NCC camp.
