Stalin’s vehicle suffers flat tyre near Trichy

TRICHY: The convoy of Tamil Nadu chief minister M K Stalin stopped at Thuvakudi on the Trichy – Thanjavur Road for some time on Thursday as the rear right tyre of the CM’s sport utility vehicle was punctured.

Stalin was going to Thanjavur to attend government functions and a wedding after inaugurating Velaan Sangamam – 2023 in Trichy.

When the tyre of the CM’s vehicle was punctured, municipal administration minister KN Nehru, who was following in another SUV, requested him to travel in his vehicle. The CM boarded Nehru’s vehicle and resumed his journey. He attended the programmes as per schedule.

The CM’s vehicle went to Thanjavur after the flat tyre was fixed.

The CM’s vehicle was brought from Chennai for the chief minister’s two-day visit to Trichy and Thanjavur on Wednesday and Thursday.
