M K Stalin on Friday laid foundation stones for three mini Tidel parks -- in Tuticorin, Thanjavur and Salem -- via videoconferencing from Chennai.
According to a statement from the government, these mini Tidel parks will create IT-related jobs for graduates in Tuticorin, Salem and Thanjavur regions. They would also pave the way for the socio-economic development of the regions and would help the state government to progress.
The mini Tidel park in Tuticorin will be constructed at a cost of Rs 32.5 crore.
The 63,100-square-foot building will come up in 4.16 acres. It will have ground plus four floors.
The mini Tidel parks in Thanjavur and Salem will be constructed at a cost of Rs 30.5 crore and Rs 29.5 crore respectively. Each of them will have ground plus three floors and will be 55,000 square feet in size.
