Stalin, Anbumani and others greet V Narayanan on being appointed as Isro chairman

CHENNAI: Tamil Nadu chief minister M K Stalin, PMK president and Rajya Sabha member Anbumani Ramadoss and other leaders congratulated V Narayanan on his appointment as the chairman of the Indian Space Research Organization (Isro).

In a social media post on Wednesday, Stalin said he was extremely happy that a person from Tamil Nadu was appointed as the Isro chairman. "My heartfelt congratulations to him," he stated.

“It is impossible not to be surprised that a person born in a humble background and studied in govt school joined as an assistant in Isro and rose to the topmost position because of his interest, curiosity, and sheer hard work,” he said.

In a post on X on Wednesday, Anbumani expressed optimism that India would scale new heights under the leadership of Narayanan, who made numerous achievements in the field of space.
