Special IAS officers inspect SWD work in Chennai

CHENNAI: Fifteen special IAS officers appointed to inspect the ongoing stormwater drain work hit the ground in various localities on Friday.


The zonal monitoring officers have to check the quality of work, whether safety measures are followed and if the work progress is on line with the stipulated deadline.


The IAS officers deputed for inspection are Sravan Kumar Jatavath (Tiruvottiyur), B Ganesan (Manali), Sandeep Nanduri (Madhavaram), TG Vinay (Tondiarpet), K Vijayakarthikeyan (Royapuram), Ranjeet Singh (Tiruvika Nagar), S Suresh Kumar (Ambattur), S Palanisamy (Anna Nagar), K Rajamani (Teynampet), M Vijayalakshmi (Kodambakkam), D Manikandan (Valvarasvakkam), R Nanthagopal (Alandur), Nishant Krishna (Adyar), D Ravichandran (Perungudi) and K Veera Raghava Rao (Sholinganallur).

They inspected SWD work at Alandur River View Colony, streets in Sholinganallur, Teynampet, Periamet and Manali.
