Sowmiya Anbumani leads in Dharmapuri

DHARMAPURI: PMK candidate Sowmiya Anbumani, wife of former Union health minister Anbumani Ramadoss, is leading in Dharmapuri Lok Sabha constituency.

PMK is part of the BJP-led NDA. Sowmiya contested the elections on PMK’s mango symbol.

She was leading by a margin of 19,437 votes at the end of the sixth round of counting. Sowmiya had garnered 1.88 lakh votes while DMK’s A Mani received 1.69 lakh votes and AIADMK’s Dr R Asokan got 1.26 lakh votes.
