Southern Railway blew away

6-1 in the CHA-Super Division

here at the Mayor Radhakrishnan Stadium on Thursday. The other four goals for Southern Railway were scored by Verma, Paul Sesu, Govthanman and
Elampari
while Aravind Rajan found the target for SAI.
Iyappan put Southern Railway in the third minute but Aravind restored parity in the 20th minute. An opportunist Verma made it 2-1 in the 29th minute while Sesu, Govthanman, Iyappan and Elampari scored in the 40th, 45th, 50th and 51st minutes respectively.
In the second match of the day, riding on a brace from Mathan former champions Indian Bank defeated Accountant General Office 3-1. Philip Martin scored the other goal for the bankmen while
Vinoth Kumar sounded the board for AG’s Office.
