Shoddy relaying of roads irks Chitlapakkam residents
CHENNAI: Chitlapakkam residents are cut up with civic officials for failing to ensure that roads in the locality are milled before relaying work is carried out. The height of the roads has increased as a result and many residents are finding it difficult to even open the gates of their houses.

After paying huge commission the contractor has also to earn something.Hence the result f shoddy work.This will lead to relay the road once again in a short period to earn by the politicians and contractor.
