Sanitation workers felicitated in Chennai

CHENNAI: The Voices of Mandavellipakam core committee on Saturday felicitated sanitation workers in ward 126.

Mylapore MLA T Velu and residents attended felicitation event at the Kalyan Nagar Association.

As a gesture of gratitude, provision bags containing rice, cooking oil, and lentils were distributed to the Urbaser Team comprising 20 workers, four supervisors and a unit officer.

The event highlighted the crucial role of sanitation workers while strengthening community-govt, said Saroj Satyanarayanan, initiator of The Voices of Mandavellipakam.
