RSS meets Stalin, expresses grief over Karuna’s demise

Chennai: Members of the Tamil Nadu unit of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) on Monday met DMK leader M K Stalin and handed over the resolution passed by its high-level committee to condole the demise of former DMK president M Karunanidhi.
The resolution was passed during a meeting held recently in Mumbai. Mohanrao Bhagwat, Sarkaryavah and Suresh Joshi had participated in the meeting.
The resolution reads that Karunanidhi’s thought, actions and his conduct while discharging his social responsibilities earned him respect and recognition in the society, said the release.
The RSS functionaries’ meeting with Stalin gained prominence as it took place when the latter has been acting with all guns blazing against the BJP government at the Centre and the Hindu outfits behind it.
