Rajinikanth at the latter’s Poes Garden residence in Chennai on Sunday.
“They discussed politics, cinema and Rajinikanth’s plan to enter politics,” said a source in the knowhow of things.
The talks between the duo went on for close to an hour from 8pm.
Poonam posted her pictures with the actor and his wife Latha Rajinikanth on her Twitter handle and tweeted: “One of the most humble couples I have ever met Lathaji and Thalaiva @superstarrajini ji.”

In May, Rajinikanth dropped hints on joining politics, claiming the political system was rotten and needs clean up. He exhorted his fans to get prepared “when the war comes.”
