Tamil Nadu, the
DMK is finding ways to reach out to the distressed public and remain in political limelight.
On Tuesday, DMK chief M K Stalin’s political strategist
Prashant Kishor helped his client to use the digital platform to reach out to the vulnerable sections. DMK MLAs, MPs, district secretaries and senior leaders will sport a new logo in social media -- @OndrinaivomVaa (come, let’s unite) in DMK colours along with a mobile number.
Several people have also been receiving a recorded message from Stalin on their mobile phones, advising them to take care and remain indoors.
Since Monday, all party functionaries are using the @OndrinaivomVaa logo on Twitter, Facebook, WhatsApp etc. Kishor’s strategy platform I-PAC helped DMK launch a new website www.ondrinaivomvaa.in and a mobile number to facilitate Covid-hit people to reach out to DMK’s district secretaries though video conferencing.
“Driven by the strength of coming together to overcome the Covid crisis, @mkstalin announces the initiative aiming to reach over 4 Cr citizens in the next 6-8 weeks. Anyone in distress in TN can reach him through the people's helpline on 9073090730,” said a tweet by I-PAC.
