Power cut announced for these parts of Chennai, outskirts

CHENNAI: Power supply will be suspended in several parts of Chennai and

outskirts

from 9am to 2pm on Wednesday for maintenance work.

According to an

Tangedco

release, there will be

power cut

in Adyar/Injambakkam, Avadi/ KovIlpathagai, Pattabiram, Thirumullaivoyal, Alamathy, Tambaram/IAF, KK Nagar, Guindy, Kolathur,

T Nagar

/ West Mambalam substation areas.

Supply will be resumed before 2pm if the work is completed.

In Adyar/Injambakkam substation area, there will be power cut in 1st & 2nd Avenue, Brindavan Nagar, Selva Nagar, Thomas Avenue, Hanuman Colony and surrounding areas.

In Avadi substation area, there will be power cut in Kovil Pathagai, Sathiyamoorthy Nagar, Santhi Nagar and Police Quarters.

In Pattabiram, there will be power cut in Bharathiyar Nagar, I A F Road, Gandhi Nagar and police quarters

In Thirumullaivoyal, Eswaran Nagar, Indira Nagar, Lakshmipuram and Gandhi Nagar will have power cut.

In Alamathy area, there will be power cut in Vaniyanchathram, Ramapuram, Erumattapalayam, Singillikuppam and surrounding areas.

In Tambaram/IAF substation area, there will be power cut in Sudanandabharathi street, MES Road, Ashok Nagar, Valmi Street, Velachery Main Road, Bharathamatha Street, Kalidasar Street, Old GST Road, Irumbuliyur, Thilagavathi Nagar, Indian Air Force and surrounding areas.

In KK Nagar substation area, there will be power cut in Ashok Nagar east section, KK Nagar south section and surrounding areas.

In Guindy, there will be power cuts in Industrial Estate, Pillaiyar Koil Street, Mount Road partial, Pallavan street, Kabilar Street, Bharathiyar Street, Ganapathi colony and surrounding areas.

In Kolathur substation area, Red Hills road, Meenakchi Nagar, Thriumalai Nagar, Padma Nagar, School Road and surrounding areas will have power cut.

In T Nagar/ West Mambalam substation area, there will be power cut in Mahalaksmi Street, Guild Street, Part of Usman Road and Mambalam police quarters.
