Power cut announced for parts of Chennai

CHENNAI: Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation Limited (TANGEDCO) has announced that power supply will be suspended in Guindy and Ramapuram on Saturday to facilitate maintenance work.

There will be no power supply from 9am to 2pm in shops and houses at the Industrial Estate Guindy, Ambal Nagar, Jawaharlal Nehru Salai, Ekkattuthangal, Bharathiyar street, Gandhi Nagar, Poonamallee Road, Balaji Nagar and Munusamy Street.

In Ramapuram, power shutdown is scheduled at Anandham Nagar, Kambar Salai, Shanthi Nagar, Poonamallee Road, KFC, Manapakkam Main Road, Krishna Court, Sriram Garden, Lakshmi Nagar and MGR Nagar.

Power supply will resume before 2pm if work is completed early.
