Physical education teacher dies in road accident near Tiruvallur

Chennai: A 52-year-old physical education teacher died after a bus collided with his two-wheeler near Tiruvallur on Monday night.

The deceased, identified as Baskar, was teaching at a government school in Thirupachur. The accident happened around 9pm when he was returning home after meeting a friend.

A govt bus collided head-on with his two-wheeler. Baskar, who fell on the road, came under the rear wheels of the bus and he died on the spot.

The Tiruvallur Town police registered a case. They sent Baskar’s body to the Tiruvallur Government Hospital for a postmortem.
