Perungudi likely to experience sewage obstruction

CHENNAI: There may be

sewage

obstruction in Perungudi (Zone 14) on October 8,9, 14 and 15 due to work on interconnection of newly laid 1000mm dia CI pipes with 1000mm dia DI main of L B Road (HT) relay sewage pumping station.

The work will be carried out from noon on October 8 to 8 am on October 9 and from noon on October 14 to 12 noon on October 15.

During the period, the pumping station operation will be shut down for completion of work. If there is sewage obstruction, the public is requested to contact Area Engineer XIII (8144930913) and Area Engineer IX (8144930909).
