OTA Chennai completes 30 years of training women soldiers

From firing their first Insas rifle to bayoneting down mannequins with a terrorising war cry, close to 200 women cadets from different walks of life on Friday demonstrated the skills they have acquired at Officers Training Academy (OTA).

Training in 2 batches

Currently, 300 women cadets are being trained in two batches.

6-month course

One set will pass out next month after completing a six-month course for short service commission.
