North Chennai youth to stage skit on river Kosasthalaiyar

CHENNAI: North Chennai youth will stage a skit about the river Kosasthalaiyar on Sunday (November 26). It will be staged at Don Bosco Youth Animation Centre in Ennore from 4.30pm. Entry is free.

The skit – “There is a river in a place- What do you mean by a good city?” -- is based on the ecology of the river Kosasthalaiyar and how it has shaped the livelihood and culture of the local community.

Stories and anecdotes that will be played in the skits have been collected from older members of the community.
