The CITU, which is leading the protests against the company, said it would continue the protests including holding demonstrations in front of the Kancheepuram labour office on Tuesday.

A section of Samsung employees has been protesting inside the company’s consumer durable factory since Feb 5 against the suspension of three employees. Samsung later suspended more than 20 employees.

Samsung earlier denied all allegations of the union and said it is compliant with the laws. “While our production remains uninterrupted, we urge the state authorities to secure the safety of our workers, maintain discipline and provide ease of doing business,” it said in a statement on Thursday.

A month-long labour unrest at the South Korean's facility near Chennai disrupted its production during the festival season last year.
