Mylapore

is one of the best picturesque locations in the city. The Kapaleeshwarar temple, its tank, the madas that are adjacent to the temple - there's so much scope for

photographers

to explore and go on clicking photos for hours together. With the neighbourhood buzzing with temple-goers and vendors on the madas since the daybreak, photogs are often spotted strolling around with their cameras during mornings and evenings, especially on weekends. On Sunday, there was this bunch of photographers who were spotted in the neighbourhood, happily zooming in their cameras on everything interesting that they came across on the streets of Mylapore.
Going with the current trend of mobile photography, these

photography

enthusiasts were also seen clicking photos using their phones. This bunch of people were there at Mylapore as part of a mobile photography workshop for beginners. The workshop, which was organised by CausePlayKarma, was carried out by Iphoneographer Surya Chidambaram. This group of photography enthusiasts walked through the streets of Mylapore and then, stopped at Kalathi, a shop which is know for its rose milk. They continued their walk through the market on south mada street and then, proceeded to the Sri Ramakrishna Math. Following that they explored the north mada street. They also savored some snacks from the hole-in-the-wall shop, Jannalkadai and then, went back to the Kapaleeshwarar temple. Following that, they called it day after having breakfast at the decades old Rayer mess. Meanwhile, this was organised to raise funds to support the transgender community.
