MEASI Academy of Architecture holds graduation day

Chennai: MEASI Academy of Architecture, celebrated its graduation day for 2021 graduates from BArch, MArch (General), and MArch (Real Estate Development) courses affiliated to Anna University on March 11. Architect C R Raju, the National President of Indian Institute of Architects and Principal Architect and Founder, CRR Architects was the chief guest for the ceremony. Nawab Mohammed Abdul Ali Azimjah, Chairman MEASI delivered the presidential address. C R Raju, who presented the degrees, highlighted the importance of architecture education and the significance of the architect’s role in building the future. He urged the young graduates to uphold professional ethics and stand for uncompromised integrity. He encouraged the graduates to boost sustainability by designing built and unbuilt environments with frugality. Harini G R, received the Anna University 5th rank, medal from MEASI and the Hari Anand Memorial Award for the best outgoing student award. A total of 10 university rank holders from MEASI Academy of Architecture, who are among the top 30 ranks from Anna University, also received their degrees and rank certificates. The coveted Anna University Gold medal with First Rank was awarded to Jennifer R (MArch Real Estate Development Programme). In total, 159 Under Graduate students of BArch and 16 Post Graduate students from MArch (General) and 16 Post Graduates students from MArch (Real Estate Development) received their degrees.
