Mango thiruvizha at Dakshinachitra

CHENNAI: Summer is mango time and Dakshinachitra on ECR will be the place to be this Sunday for the second edition of the Mango Thiruvizha. Part of the Great Mango Festival organised by Hanu Reddy Mango Tourism, it will be held from 10.30am to 7pm.

‘Mango quilt’, a group storytelling session by art manager Harish aka Hush, will be followed by food designer Akash Muralidharan-hosted ‘Celebrating Mambazham’, where participants will present original mango-based dishes.

Mambazhama Mambazham will have contestants gorging on 1kg mangoes each, with the fastest going away with 3kg of the fruit.
