It promises to increase income tax exemption limit from Rs 5 lakh to Rs 8 lakh. For women and differently-abled, the limit will be Rs 10 lakh.

The DMK promises to revert to old pension scheme and administered price mechanism for fuel prices. LPG will also be priced as per the old system.

The manifesto promises to scrap NEET for medical admission and strive for implementing reservation in private sector.

Rs 50,000 will be given to a woman in each family living below poverty line to commence small businesses.

Cities like Madurai, Trichy, Coimbatore and Salem will get metro rails.

As many as 50 lakh people will be given jobs in private companies at Rs 10,000 per month as part of the corporate social responsibility and the number of working days under the MGNREGS will be increased to 150 days.
