KVB gives 1.6 cr for palliative care

Chennai: Karur Vysya Bank (KVB) has donated 1.6 crore to Sneha Sandhiya Age Care Foundation, an integrated geriatric and palliative care facility at Visakhapatnam, as part of its CSR initiative towards construction of a block to care for the elderly and terminally ill patients. B Ramesh Babu, MD and CEO of Karur Vysya Bank handed over a demand draft of 50 lakh to the Trustees of the foundation on Tuesday. He said that Sneha Sandhiya Foundation is one of the few that offers shelter to senior citizens and ill patients.
