CHENNAI: The Tamil Nadu government has launched a

website

called '

Anbudan Tamizhagam

' to facilitate collection, transportation and distribution of supplies and funds to Kerala by engaging with the civil society in the state.

The government, through the State Disaster Management Authority (SDMA), is coordinating the relief work. As part of the initiative, www.anbudantamizhagam.org was launched in three hours on Saturday night with the help of volunteers. The website has listed out

relief material

requirements and collection points across Tamil Nadu.

The government has also appointed IAS officers Santhosh Babu and Darez Ahmed to assist the state relief commissioner and additional chief secretary and commissioner of revenue administration K Satyagopal in coordinating the operations.
