Justice Manindra Mohan Shrivastava to be Madras high court CJ

Justice Manindra Mohan Shrivastava has been appointed as the Chief Justice of the Madras High Court. Simultaneously, Justice K R Shriram of the Madras High Court has been transferred to Rajasthan HC as its Chief Justice.

CHENNAI: Chief Justice of Rajasthan high court Justice Manindra Mohan Shrivastava has been transferred to Madras HC as its Chief Justice. Chief Justice Madras high courtJustice K R Shriram has been transferred as the Chief Justice of the Rajasthan high court.The Union govt on Monday notified the transfers. The transfer has been notified in view of the recommendation made by the Supreme Court collegium on May 26.Manindra Mohan Shrivastava was born in Bilaspur on March 6, 1964. He enrolled with the Bar Council of Madhya Pradesh on Oct 5, 1987, and practised in the Raigarh district court, High Court of Madhya Pradesh and High Court of Chhattisgarh.He was designated as senior advocate on Jan 31, 2005, and elevated as a judge of the Chhattisgarh high court on Dec 10, 2009.He was transferred to Rajasthan high court on Oct 18, 2021, and elevated as the Chief Justice Rajasthan high court on Feb 6, 2024.
