In rarest of rare case, doctors find uterus in 23-year-old man's abdomen

In one of the rarest of rare cases, doctors removed a uterus from the stomach of a 23-year-old man. Amaresh, a native of Tamil Nadu's Itukapalli village, had approached the doctors after acute pain in one of his testicles.

After examining him, the doctors found something bizarre. The space where a man's testicles are found was empty in this case. Moreover, a full fledged uterus and even an ovary was found in his abdomen. Surprisingly, the ovaries had been performing the functions of testicles in his case.

He was successfully operated at Sri Priya Nursing Home at Kuppam in Chittoor district and the doctors are sure that he can lead a normal life now.
