If Rajinikanth enters politics, Stalin will struggle to retain his leader of opposition status: TN minister K Pandiarajan
CHENNAI: Minister for Tamil official language and Tamil culture
“Only Stalin has to be concerned about Rajinikanth launching his own party since the political prospects of the actor is looking good better than those of the DMK,” Pandiarajan said, while responding to a pointed question over reports that Rajinikanth was likely to launch his new political party in November this year.
“If Rajinikanth launches his party, the competition will be only between them for being in the opposition. Already, when actor Vijayakant came up, the DMK lost its opposition party status in the state assembly. Now also, only Stalin’s status as
Pandiarajan, who organized a Covid-19 medical camp in his Avadi constituency, said Stalin had not only built a castle in the air but had also started living in it. The minister was responding to Stalin’s statement in his party’s general council meeting held on Wednesday that DMK would come to power in Tamil Nadu in eight months.
“As per psychology, some people imagine things that are not real and believe them to be real. It is like building a castle in the air. Stalin has not only built a castle in the air, but has also started living in it,” Pandiarajan told TOI.
Reacting to political potshots from the ruling AIADMK camp, DMK Central Chennai MP Dayanidhi Maran said the people of Tamil Nadu had already decided to vote out the present government in the state.
“People of Tamil Nadu have decided that this slave government of the BJP must go. The increasing incidences of students committing suicide due to NEET has only increased the people’s anger against this government,” Maran said, after distributing welfare measures to the needy in his constituency on Friday.

EPS of ADMK in each and every comment or reply says Puratchi Thalaivi Amma Arasu..... Instead, he should say Puratchi Thalaivi Amma matrum Thiaga Thalaivi Chinnamma Arasu....because Sashikala only made him chief minister... Both JJ and Sashikala are convicted together...EPS endorses Puratchi Thalaivi but has forgotten Thiaga Thalaivi Chinnamma... BJP, a non-corrupt party having alliance with ADMK....
