CHENNAI: A day after grilling actor R Sarathkumar for more than six hours, the income tax investigation wing on Tuesday started raids on his house at Kottivakkam and on the premises of Raadan Media Pvt Ltd, owned by his wife Raadhika.

I-T
officials were raiding Sarathkumar's house in the last four days.
"The department is keen on getting to know the money trail between Sarathkumar and the AIADMK (Amma). In Monday's grilling, we could not get much information from Sarathkumar. We have information that the money trail could lead us to his wife's company," said an I-T official.
I-T sources told TOI that crores of rupees had changed hands a day before officials searched the houses of state health minister C Vijayabaskar and his associates.
"We could not find the money in Sarathkumar's house. He refused to give a convincing answer," said the I-T official.
Raadan Media is owned by
Radhika
. It has produced several Tamil TV serials and films.
I-T investigations found that crores of rupees had changed hands ahead of the R K Nagar bypoll, which has since been cancelled.
