High Court stays House Full Chennai:

The Madras High Court on Tuesday issued a stay on Bollywood film House Full. It was in response to a petition filed on behalf of producer PL Thenappan, who claimed that the Hindi film was closely based on his film Kaadhala kaadhala' starring Kamal Haasan and Prabhu Deva.

CHENNAI: The Madras High Court on Tuesday issued a stay on Bollywood film House Full. It was in response to a petition filed on behalf of producer PL Thenappan, who claimed that the Hindi film was closely based on his film Kaadhala kaadhala' starring Kamal Haasan and Prabhu Deva. "I hold the rights to Kaadhala kaadhala' and have not sold any of the rights to anyone," Thenappan told TOI.

The stay covers world and Indian satellite, terrestrial and cable TV rights.
House Full' produced by Sajid Nadiawala, and directed by Sajid Khan released in April. Starring Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone and Lara Dutta, the film has been a box office hit.
