Kamal Haasan extends support to Chennai Corporation employees’ cause

CHENNAI: Leaders and other representatives of the Greater Chennai Corporation Employees Welfare Association met actor and Makkal Needhi Maiam president Kamal Haasan at the party head office here on Tuesday and requested his support to their cause.
Kamal had a detailed discussion on their demands and working conditions. He also received their proposal of demands and conveyed his support to their cause.
The actor assured that Makkal Needhi Maiam would convey to the government and other relevant authorities that guaranteeing job security for employees was the duty of the government in charge, said a statement from the MNM.
