A private Bharat Gaurav tourist train from Chennai to Kashmir is set to depart on April 2 for a 15-day journey.

The train is operated by South Star Rail in collaboration with Southern Railway under the Bharat Gaurav scheme.

Covers Agra, Delhi, and Amritsar, with visits to the Taj Mahal, Fatehpur Sikri, Golden Temple, and Pahalgam.
Shuttle vans or buses for local sightseeing
Passengers can leave heavy luggage on the train under security while using shuttle vans or buses for local sightseeing.

Hotel stays arranged for overnight halts.
South Indian food
Fresh vegetarian South Indian food will be served onboard, prepared in the train's pantry for all 650 passengers throughout the journey.
