Exhibition of defence products conducted for polytechnic, ITI students in Chennai
CHENNAI: Defence Research and Development Organisation's Combat Vehicles Research and Development Establishment (CVRDE), Avadi, conducted an exhibition for the polytechnic and ITI students on Tuesday.
The exhibition, conducted as part of CVRDE’s golden jubilee celebrations, was meant to help students understand the defence R&D technologies.
Lectures by senior scientists, a video show about the CVRDE / DRDO developed products, display of CVRDE developed products (scale down model & original equipment), live demonstration of the original main battle tank ARJUN were held.
Around 1,200 students from 19 institutions witnessed the exhibition.
