Ex-MP Senguttuvan dies aged 65 in Vellore
VELLORE: The AIADMK’s former MP from Vellore, B Senguttuvan, died on Thursday after a prolonged illness. He was 65 and is survived by his wife, a daughter and a son.
He breathed his last in a private hospital in Vellore city where he was admitted on Wednesday. He underwent treatment for liverrelated ailments for the past three months. He was in a private hospital in Chennai for almost one month and was discharged a couple of days ago. He developed complications on Wednesday night and was rushed to a private hospital in Vellore, where he died.
Senguttuvan was elected from Vellore parliamentary constituency in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections.
After the demise of former chief minister J Jayalalithaa, Senguttuvan left the AIADMK to join AMMK — floated by T T V Dhinakaran and V K Sasikala. But he returned to the AIADMK later.
