"India has a young, educated and highly ambitious workforce, and we are trying to create a critical mass here in India for the group...At the end of 2021, we had around 950 employees, and by the end of 2023, that number had risen to around 1,500, and by the end of this year, we would expect to have around about 2,200 people servicing all of our global operations here from India," Paul Lynam, group chief executive officer, Equiniti, told TOI. "To put it into perspective, more than one out of every three of our global employees will be based here in India," he added.

"We have around 450 high tech colleagues working on some of the latest technologies, including developing new platforms," he said.
