CHENNAI: Southern Railway has announced disruptions in train services from Feb 10 to 15 due to engineering work in Chennai division. Some trains will be cancelled while others will be partially curtailed, affecting thousands of daily commuters.
Trains including Katpadi-Tirupati, Chennai Beach-Tiruvannamalai, Tiruvannamalai-Tambaram, and Katpadi-Jolarpet MEMU services will be fully cancelled on Feb 10, 12, 14, and 15.
In addition to full cancellations, select services will be partially curtailed. Arakkonam-Katpadi MEMU on Feb 10, 12, and 14 will terminate at Sevur instead of Katpadi. Villupuram-Katpadi MEMU will be short-terminated at Vellore Cantonment on Feb 10, 12, and 14.
Passengers are asked to check revised schedules and plan their travel accordingly.
