D Karthikeyan appointed municipal administration and water supplies secretary in TN

CHENNAI: The Tamil Nadu government on Saturday appointed higher education department secretary D Karthikeyan as the secretary of the municipal administration and water supplies (MAWS) department, a post held by Shiv Das Meena who was elevated as the chief secretary recently. Karthikeyan had served as the commissioner of municipal administration department in the previous AIADMK regime.

Animal husbandry department secretary A Karthik has been posted as the higher education department secretary.

Secretary of the backward classes welfare department Mangat Ram Sharma has been posted as the secretary of the animal husbandry department.

Special secretary of the health department Reeta Harish Thakkar has been posted as the secretary of backward classes welfare.

Greater Chennai Corporation deputy commissioner (revenue and finance) Vishnu Mahajan has been posted as the joint managing director (finance) in Tangedco.

Nagercoil Corporation commissioner Anand Mohan has been posted as the DC (revenue and finance) of the Greater Chennai Corporation.

Project director of Tamil Nadu road sector project, project director of Chennai-Kanyakumari Industrial Corridor (CKIC) and MD of Tamil Nadu Road Development Company (TNRDC) A Annadurai has been posted as the MD of Tamil Nadu Civil Supplies Corporation (TNCSC).

TNCSC managing director S Prabahar has been posted as the project director of Tamil Nadu road sector project and also the project director of CKIC and MD of TNRDC.

Tamil Nadu Text Book and Educational Services Corporation managing director K Elambahavath has been given the full additional charge as officer on special duty of the 'Magalir Urimai Thogai' project.

Teachers Recruitment Board chairwoman Archana Patnaik has been given the additional charge of chairwoman of medical services recruitment board.

Registrar of cooperative services N Subbaiyan has been given the full additional charge of officer on special duty of Kalaignar centenary function.
