Court clerk held for duping two people
Cuddalore: A clerk in Cuddalore district court was arrested on charges of duping two persons of ₹5.5 lakh promising jobs in the district court. The clerk identified as Kalaizhelian received ₹3 lakh from a coffee bar owner and ₹2.5 lakh from a man running a computer centre promising them jobs in the district court but failed to get them jobs and also failed to return the money. The affected men submitted a petition to SP R Rajaram following which the clerk was arrested. Police said Kalaizhelian claimed that he knew all the judges in the different courts in the district and received ₹3 lakh from R Sriram and ₹2.5 lakh from G Shanmugasundaram promising them government jobs in district courts.
