Constable transferred after sexually harassing woman

Chennai: A police constable, who sexually harassed a woman riding pillion on a two-wheeler, leading to an altercation with her husband in Otteri, was transferred to the Armed Reserve.
The incident occurred along the Chengai Sivam bridge at Otteri. The woman told police that constable Dinesh, who was riding behind them, repeatedly honked to draw her attention. When she turned around, he made an obscene gesture, she said. The woman informed her husband who confronted him. A fight ensued. Following the incident, police registered cases against the constable and the husband. tnn
