CHENNAI: Coimbatore–Mayiladuthurai Jan Shatabdi Express will undergo an upgrade with the introduction of Linke-Hofmann-Busch (LHB) coaches, known for their advanced safety features and passenger comfort.
The revamped composition of No 12083/12084 Coimbatore–Mayiladuthurai Jan Shatabdi Express will include 2 AC chair car coaches, 18 chair car coaches, one second-class coach designed to be Divyangjan-friendly (disabled), and 1 luggage-cum-brake van.
