The school education department has prepared crash course material with questions from important topics in all subjects and their answers to prepare slow learners for the board exams. Class XII exams will begin on March 13 and those for class X on April 6. Around 90000 students are appearing for the two exams from more than 400 schools in the city. The syllabus has been completed and revision tests are being held, but many are struggling as the entire syllabus is being tested after a gap of three years. The school education department has now come out with crash course material with the help of subject experts. "Questions and answers are in a simple language to help students to understand," an expert who help prepare the material said. "We have covered important topics in all lessons." The experts also conduct orientation for subject teachers on using the material. "The learning material will give confidence to slow learners our teachers are also focusing on weaker students," said K Vasuki headmistress of Jaigopal Garodia Government Girls Higher Secondary School Virugambakkam. The study material is also distributed to government-aided schools. "We are teaching two questions every day for slow learners," said V Shanthi headmistress of Vidyodaya Girls Higher Secondary School in T Nagar.
